IT STARTS WITH A DREAM

  • Dream it.

It started as an idea. After I had my first child, a beautiful daughter, I had the idea to run a marathon. I didnt know how I was going to do it, but I wanted to get back into shape after my first pregnancy.

  • Build it.

I started with a training plan. I built the dream through consistant training session in the gym. I learned from my mistakes. I grew as a mom and as an athlete. I built my strength up brick by brick.

  • Grow it.

I ran my first full marathon 3 days before my duaghter turned one. My fitness journey kept growing and evolving. My goals changed as my family grew life changed. With each turning page of life my fitness journey has grown with it.

Step by step.

I have always been an athlete. Competetion was a huge part of my childhood and I loved every second of it. After high school the competition on the court faded out, but I was always drawn to the fitness world. In college I worked at Title Boxing and trained with world class boxing coaches. After I gave birth to our daughter I decided that I wanted to run a marathon before she turned one. After the marathon my goals changed. I wanted to start working out to be strong in life. I wanted to be able to play with my kids and run and jump with them. Functionality because a core foundation to my fitness programs. My goals continue to change as my fitness journey continues, but I know the core foundation needed to accomplish them.

Brick by Brick

Prioritizing fitness can be a challenge. A key to success in any fitness journey is comitting to putting the work in the gym and the kitchen. Consistency is critical to accomplishing your goals. A balance between training and nutrition is important in order to be successful. I believe in the 80 20 rule. Be consistent 80% of the time, but allow yourself 20% to enjoy life. I train hard. I eat well. I also enjoy a beer and chicken wings while watching a football game.
